Fertibras S.A. is engaged in the production, marketing, distribution, export and import of nitrogenous and phosphoric fertilizers. The Company is divided into three segments; Mistura e Comercializacao de Fertilizantes, whose primary activity is the mixture and commercialization of fertilizers; Participacao em Produtoras de Materias-Primas e Fertilizantes BasicosIt, whose primary activity is the production of raw materials and basic fertilizers; and Desenvolvimento de Outros Negocios, which through a joint venture with Agroceres, produces and commercializes herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and other agricultural chemicals.
