Contax Participacoes S.A. is engaged in the provision of outsourcing contact center services to commercial and civil companies and its only controlled company, TNL Contax S.A. in Brazil. Contax Participacoes specializes in designing, implementing, and operating complex contact centers, aiming at helping its clients to improve their customer relationships and maximize the value they provide to them. Among Contax Participacoes’ clients are many of Brazil’s large-scale companies of the telecommunications, financial services, utilities and Internet sectors, among others. By the end of 2004, Contax Participacoes operated 17,507 workstations distributed throughout 15 contact centers in eight Brazilian states. The Company is part of the Telemar Group.
