Confab Industrial S.A. is a Brazil-based company that is principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of welded steel pipes for the Energy, petroleum, gas and sanitation industries. The Company’s plant is located in Pindamonhangaba, in Sao Paulo, and has an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons of welded steel pipes. Confab Industrial also operates a division specializing in the manufacture of heavy industrial equipment, both for the Brazilian and export markets. It markets its products under the TenariaConfab brand. The Company is a member of the Tenairis Group, which is comprised of a number of steel pipe producers with a total annual production capacity exceeding 3.3 million tons for seamless pipes and 850,000 tons for welded pipes. The Company operates production centers in over 20 countries including Argentina, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Romania, and Venezuela.
